HOME AFTER 2 WEEKS OF VISITING FAMILY as of last night!!
Dashuri missed me sm as i missed her ๐ญ she slept on my chest all night, then i pet her sm when i woke up in the morning
(i did also wake up 2 or 3 times in the night, and she was there sleeping on me...!!)
anyways. Resting today bc 8 hour drive + my familys car broke down, but now i can draw again since i have my pc!! :D
...their car cant be repaired rn, so my moms husband is driving up here to pick them up and drive back down. bc she has an Important work day tomorrow she cant miss ):

June 22 was my bday, so im 26 now!! was gifted just enough bday money to get the 2nd Houseki no Kuni artbook by Ichikawa Haruko!! happened to be at the kinokuniya down in texas... i gasped... its so pretty!! havent finished going thru it yet, im on volume 10 (halfway thru it) of 13 (i know some visual spoilers tho for near ending if not ending, hence why i dont mind browsing it)
been obsessed w hnk so much for months despite being a slow reader... i watched the anime when it released, then rewatched this year to show it to mat. He loved it!! im pressuring him into reading the manga ASAP esp since i have all the physicals i got some time ago for half off on mercari, despite being new condition.
lol he does want to read it fr!! i think once he finishes another book hes in the middle of :3
i didnt get much for my bday, actually i didnt get anything except tiny bday money + bf buying me some stuff i wanted. i dont mind, no ones obligated obv, but i was a little surprised i suppose since previous years a few friends would gift art or small things. but were all struggling w money in diff ways, so id rather they keep their money tbh

i got $80 until im paid on july 22, so i kinds regret spending the bday money. i didnt realize how bad bills were gonna be this month, considering the emergency vet bills or other shit im paying off. which is my bad. But augh
mat is gonna use what he has left for my meds this week, since i kinda need those to 1. not go genuinely insane (aka wayyy more intense psychosis than normal) 2. not die (id go into a coma and likely die during it if i went 6-12 months without one important med)
i feel bad moneys so severely tight rn, but ive asked for donations sm times this year to survive.. and i Cannot do any more commissions, they were burning me out. so its my shop or donations... which i. Dont want to ask for. ill be reopening my ko-fi shop tomorrow tho, but sales have been slow considering the economy and all for months. plus shipping prices in the US rose, so i finally had to raise my prices for that

glad to be home tho! i missed Dashuri sm, and my pc lol. My moms husband was an asshole as expected when we visited, said four (4) things total to me during the 2 weeks. Mostly asking me to do shit i physically cant around the house as soon as my mom was out of hearing range, then "happy birthday". i did not do anything he requested bc im severely disabled and a guest, plus ive been injured before by doing what he wanted ๐

I hope everything improves on the money front (totally know what you're going through right now, I feel kind of :pensive: right now about finances myself knowing the amount of money we have to spend)!!!
