its late here so have this expression practice wip of Velaris beloved
lately ive often felt like, facial expression wise, my art is rather... flat? Subtle, perhaps? and considering im practicing comics (and now have much more time to do so with comms being closed), this is something i really want and need to work on!
the first expression (aka top left) is what i default to with Velaris. so i gave a shot at angry and wistful, and the pending 4th will be him crying. ill also be coloring these. but fr refs are a godsend, i mean i normally draw with character and pose refs and such. But still lol
wish me luck practicing facial expressions!!
