very quick photo before i assemble the clasps on these, but...
🩸 Gakupo Specimen Girl Flask Charms have arrived !!
ive been so excited for these! limited edition, only 10 in existence, likely wont be restocking after theyre gone! 🖤
(ill be updating on socials when theyre available on my ko-fi shop! note that these are expensive for me to make, so theyll be priced $25 as is standard for most liquid-filled charms)
im proud of this design.. and obsessed with the final product!! in person the way the blood-like oil flows is sooo cool imo!
heres the digital version of the finished artwork as well (:

just HAD to share this ASAP! let me know what you guys think of the design :D

for the design, there was an official 2025 version of specimen girl released, so it had me listening to the song more frequently again (:
as for it being a blood flask, im in a merch group order server called margalita GO! we go in together on merch types (such as acrylic charms, embossed wood pins, minky buttons, etc) so that we can reach the high MOQs* for higher quality merch products! theres also opportunities for us to innovate new product types, such as the flask shape with blood-like oil inside (liquid-filled charms have various shapes from diff manufacturers out there, but flask is new. idr if someone in margalita "invented" the flask one or not, but likely so!)
ive been in the group since there were only 500 of us years ago... now theres over 5k!! weve grown sm lol. also i can only talk about stuff in the group thats been produced already OR is publicly shared by the admin. saying just in case lol
*MOQ stands for minimum order quantity. for example, an MOQ of 200 means u need 200 pieces to get it in production! usually the MOQ per design is smaller, such as 20 per design, so we can work together to reach 200 if we cant solo it (:

Has you group been affected with the tariffs then or is this an in-house type of thing (you can see how ignorant I am with everything lol)? Hopefully not too severe if so, but still offsetting the costs together really is a great idea.

so those of us in the US are affected by tariffs (such as myself), but were an artist / small business group spread around the world! printing / making of our merch pieces is done in china by vetted manufacturers, and the admin of the group thankfully doesnt live in the US so the tariff situation wasnt deadly for us.
some ppl who live relatively near each other in the US will organize + ship participants orders to one person, and split tariffs as appropriate before the "host" mails everyone else their orders. i just have it ship directly to me, i usually pay around $30 in tariffs (tho i dont tend to order hundreds of pieces at once, 150 at most if i have diff designs and can afford it atm. my average order is 20 - 50 pieces)
anyways. hoping tariffs can end asap, even if thats an unrealistic wish these days haha. i want to make more merch forever!! lol
