thinking about my oc / dnd character Velaris Darcenell today as per usual. we recently picked back up on the campaign after unionizing as players lol, so im excited to see where things go!
though rn Velaris is trapped in a dungeon by his father Gorluin Darcenell, who became king of the high elves in his sons 50 year absence (from being disowned and forsaken to the dead god of necromancy, tho Gorluin reported Velaris as dead). across from him in the other cell is Einjar Brynholm, his friend + longtime crush that hes been desperate to save also for the past 50 years. only... its his dead body in that cell. Einjar's corpse, if you will. so Velaris has been alone with Einjar like that for a few months in universe now! vulnerable, isolated, and only able to think about how he can resurrect Einjar + kill his father...
(notably, Velaris' glasses were taken from him and smashed to pieces, so he cant see for shit. therefore... he hasnt noticed Einjar isnt rotting, his body is in a magic induced death-like state— therefore still alive)
...do we think his friends can save him?!
my god theres so much im leaving out to explain but it would take too long rn lol. always thinking about my doomed high elf yaoi tho xoxo (lets hope they can un-doom themselves and have a happy ending tho!)

to close this off... im so excited for when they reunite. when they can finally breathe from all the shit theyve been subjected to separately for so long. AND IF THEY EVER KISS IN CANON.. i will never be the same

- Velaris Darcenell (he/him, trans man, gay) is a high elf wizard, necromancer
- Einjar Brynholm (he/him, cis man, gay) is a high elf wizard, conjurer
- in our campaign, elves age much slower than humans, and as such perceive time differently. 9 years for an elf is like 1 year to a human. for example, Velaris is 225, which maturity-wise is equivalent to a 25 y/o. and 50 years is drastic to humans, but about 5.5 years in time perception to elves.
- Velaris and Einjar have not confessed to each other, but have a mutual crush. Well. more deep than a crush but still

i don't know if you've already said this stuff before and i just didn't read it (^_^;;;;) but what a cool story! the drama of it all... i hope things turn out well for them. rooting for them...! they're really cute, too
